It is not easy for E-7 visa holders to change to another place of work.
This is because restrictions are put in place to protect bona fide employers and maintain order in immigration.
- You will need to be screened for E7 eligibility for your new employer. Therefore, you need to prepare almost the same level of documents as when you first received the E7 visa.
- If you move before the end of the contract period, you must obtain a transfer agreement from the head of the original workplace.
- If you have worked until the expiration date of the contract period, you do not need to submit it.
- If there are reasons such as closure of the original workplace or non-payment of wages, proof documents must be submitted.
- If you do not receive a transfer agreement, you will have to return to your home country and get a visa again.
