E7 Visa Extension Requirements
When applying for an E7 visa extension, the main focus is to ensure that you are still in compliance with the visa requirements that you submitted at the time of your initial E7 visa approval.
In some cases, E7 visa extension applications are denied or require supplemental documentation, most often because they do not meet one of the following conditions
- Wage requirements: You’re not paid the amount agreed to in your labor contract. You were paid less than minimum wage
- Contract duration: Incorrect contract duration in the labor contract
- Change your workplace
- Corporate tax delinquencies
- Existence of immigration violations
- Other passport reissues, etc.
- If you forget your extension expiration date and apply late
If the E7 visa extension is an issue, you can resolve the issue, submit supplemental documentation, and most of the time it will be granted, and if it is a wage requirement, it will be granted conditionally.
